Dr. Radhika Wadhwa
Dr. Wadhwa is a native Texan, born and raised in Odessa. Later she moved with her family to Dallas and went on to complete her Bachelors in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Doctor of Dental surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2011.
She has demonstrated her commitment to professional excellence by completing her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Currently she is working towards her fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Wadhwa is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Wadhwa met her husband, Dr. Vikram Gandhi, in dental school and they recently married on February 1. In her free time, Dr. Wadhwa enjoys watching movies and dancing. Dr. Wadhwa is very involved in an Indian classical dance form, Kuchipudi, and continues to learn and perform. She has also won numerous competitions in other various styles of dance.
Dr. Vikram Gandhi
Dr. Vikram Gandhi graduated magna cum laude from UTD with a degree in Biology and minor in Business Administration. He then accepted a generous scholarship to continue his education at Texas A & M University System Baylor College of Dentistry, where he graduated cum laude with his dental degree. He then completed an additional three-year residency in Periodontics, Dental Implant Surgery, and Oral Medicine and Stomotology at Baylor.
Dr. Gandhi is board eligible for the American Board of Periodontology.
His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.
During his time at Baylor, he served as the chief resident in the periodontal department. He lectured to the undergraduate dental students on numerous topics including dental implants, root coverage, All-On-4, Teeth in a Day, crown lengthening, sinus-lifts, and various other periodontal treatments.
Recognizing an important need for community service, he is an active volunteer for the “Dentistry from the Heart” program. The Dentistry from the Heart enhances the oral health of large numbers of needy individuals.
Beside English, Dr. Gandhi speaks Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports, working around his house, travelling, biking and learning about new technologies.
Dr. Gandhi was in married in February, 2014 to his new wife who is also a dentist.
Dr. James Barnes DDS
Dr. Barnes graduated from SMU with a degree in Biology. He continued his education at Baylor University College of Dentistry and the Baylor residency program in Periodontics. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Periodontics at the Texas A & M University System, Baylor College of Dentistry. He was elected by his district on three occasions to serve as a Trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology. He has served as President of both the Texas Society of Periodontists and the Southwest Society of Periodontology.
Dr. Barnes has authored and co-authored articles published in peer-reviewed journals (Journal of Periodontology, Journal of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Journal) and made multiple presentations to national, regional, state, and local dental organizations. His hobbies include golf, shooting sports, music, photography, and his two grandchildren.
Dr. Elias D. Kontogiorgos DDS, MS
Dr. Kontogiorgos is a board certified prosthodontist. He completed his Masters in Oral Biology and Certificate in Prosthodontics at the Baylor College in Dentistry. He has published several research articles in the field of Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics. He specializes in full mouth reconstruction and in the field of esthetic, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Has two kids, wife is a dentist and she is a full time faculty at the Baylor College of Dentistry.
